London – The American Kielce Gussie, who works as a journalist at Vatican News, carried out the first reading in English at the funeral of Pope Francis – several verses from the apostle stories.

Gussie, originally from Florida, completed her bachelor’s degree in theology at Mount St. Mary’s University.

The university showed it in an article in March 2019 and said she had to involve her belief with the media.

“In Rome, Gussie will pursue an internship at EWTN or Catholic Bytes,” said Mount St. Mary’s University in 2019. “Kielce is a go-getter.
