Fayetteville, Ark.-Arkansa’s basketball fell in the Bud Walton Arena, 89-50, and managed to bind a school record.

The Razorbacks are now 9-18 in the season and combine a program high for most losses in a season since 1978 when sport was upgraded to university status.

“I will continue to find ways to achieve little victories,” said coach Mike neighbor. “I know that it is not the popular thing and it’s not the cool thing. Find ways to still celebrate improvements and still celebrate progress when the score is like that.”

The HOGS lost 18 games in a fourth season (1980-81, 2009-10, 2015-16 and 2017-18). There are still four regular season games.

Ole Miss used his superior size to suffocate Arkansas’ crime. Striker Madison Scott finished the double double with 10 points and 11 rebounds, including 10 rebounds in the first half. The rebels ended the second quarter with a 23:4 run, which held the pigs on only nine field goals in the first half. They led 48-23 at halftime.

The guard Izzy Higginbottom continued its historical season from the ground with 18 points to 7-to-23.

The guard Carly Keats scored its first points since the razibacks won against Texas A&M on January 30th and ended at six. Keats missed two games with an injury before returning to play against Georgia for 4 minutes.
