Jonathan Kuminga, Fred Vanvleet for Warriors vs. Rockets

The Golden State Warriors are back in action after a tough defeat on Wednesday evening in the Dallas Mavericks. You will visit the Houston Rockets this evening at 5:00 p.m. PT in a further deficit … something that Steve Kerr is not too pleased about.

There is good news for the warriors. While Steph Curry didn’t play the most back-to-backs this year, he is good this evening, even though he played 37 minutes less than 24 hours ago. And Jimmy Butler, who has still started the games in the games, also plays.

Here is the full injury report.

warrior

Out of – Jonathan Kuminga (right ankle -resuscitation)

This will be Kuminga’s 21st game in a row through injuries and hopefully for a while. The Warriors don’t play again for eight days and there is a good chance that JK will be back for this game.

Rocket

Out of – Fred Vanvleet (right ankle strain)

FVV’s numbers have dropped a lot this year, but he was still a very solid starter for a very good Rockets team. He missed the last six games with an ankle injury, and the Rockets have only become 2-4 during this time.

Out of – Jabari Smith Jr. (Left Metacarpal fracture)

Smith has not played since New Year’s Day, but he approaches a return. Houston hopes that he can return to contact exercises during the all-star break.

Out of – Tari Eason (left -legged injury management)

Eason, the 17th total decision in the draft of 2022, has the best season of his career in his third NBA campaign. But he missed 13 games in a row from December and January and still managed his recovery from this injury.

Out of – Cody Zeller (not with a team)

Zeller started the year with the Atlanta Hawks, but did not play this season for personal reasons. He was traded on the Rockets at the deadline, but still has to join the team. I am not sure what’s going on or whether he will soon join the rockets. Hopefully everything is fine.

Enjoy the campaign, Dub Nation!
