National Signing Day Live: Follow Georgia’s newest signees

National Signing Day is finally here.

Recruits can make everything official Wednesday through Friday by putting pen to paper and officially signing with the school of their choice.

Most, if not all, of Georgia’s 2025 class is expected to sign during the early signing period. UGASports will have the current list of Georgia signees as soon as it is officially announced.

Short was once committed to Alabama, but Georgia was adamant about signing him. The 6-foot-1, 295-pound offensive tackle ultimately chose the Bulldogs. Short, the No. 54 prospect in the country, can play multiple positions on the offensive line.

A former Ohio State commitment to Georgia in August. While he did it all at Douglass High as a cornerback, safety and even receiver, Gilbert is expected to play cornerback for Georgia.

IMG’s pipeline to Georgia continues here as Dominick Kelly becomes the Bulldogs’ newest addition. While he is a somewhat new member of Georgia’s 2025 recruiting class, having reclassified from 2026 in November, he has been committed to the Bulldogs since July.

Peachtree Ridge offensive lineman Dennis Uzochukwu has signed with Georgia. The Bulldogs kicked him out of Georgia State on Thanksgiving Day. Uzochukwu is only in his second year on offense, but he is a very good candidate to excel as an offensive tackle at the next level.

The Westlake High School offensive tackle, committed since August, has signed on the dotted line. There really is one way to describe Gaston, and it’s “massive.” At 6-foot-3 and 330 pounds, Gaston is another big addition to Georgia’s offensive line and gives the Bulldogs a true offensive tackle in this class.

Glover was a one-time commitment to Alabama and committed to Georgia in June after official visits to Tennessee and Florida State. The Bulldogs impressed the Rivals250 offensive guard with his development and ability to take players to the next level. Glover is considered a future guard or center and has been compared to former Bulldog center Sedrick Van Pran by Georgia coach Stacy Searels. Glover helps lead a Langston Hughes rushing attack that is currently averaging about 235 yards per game and 9.5 yards per carry this season.

Barbour is another long-time tight end commitment. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound tight end transferred to high school before his senior season, teaming up with wide receiver CJ Wiley at Milton High School. Barbour passed for over 800 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior.

In the middle of his junior season, Walker chose Georgia and stuck with it. The 5-foot-9, 205-pounder is ranked No. 141 in the nation and No. 3 all-purpose player. Walker is a tough runner and difficult to beat. He runs like former Bulldog Nick Chubb.

The four-star wide receiver committed to Georgia back in May and the Bulldogs were able to hold on to his commitment until the end. Florida, Florida State and Tennessee were other schools his pledge attended. The Calvary Day high wide receiver recorded 47 receptions for 1,042 yards and 17 touchdowns in 10 games during his senior season. He also had a punt return for a touchdown and two rushing scores this season. Blackshear will look to help the Bulldogs at a much-needed position heading into the 2025 season.

Glenn Schumann continues to bring elite talent to the inside linebacker position for the Bulldogs. The 39th-ranked prospect nationally will join a talented linebacker room and have an immediate impact on special teams. Walker committed to Georgia in June after an official visit and never reneged on that commitment. As a senior at Schley County, he collected 77 total tackles, 13.0 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, eight quarterback hurries, one interception and one fumble recovery.

After more than a dozen unofficial visits to Athens beginning before his freshman year, Smith committed to the Bulldogs last summer, citing UGA’s player development and the fact that it is a “dream school” as key factors. He is the third best center in the country and just turned 17 in October. As a 13-year-old freshman, Smith started his first game at center for Parkview. The 6-foot-3, 300-pound player is touted as Georgia’s center of the future and has been compared by Bulldog coaches to former Georgia center Sedrick Van Pran.

The No. 1 tight end in the Class of 2025 has officially signed with Georgia. Elyiss Williams is the longest-tenured player in this class, having signed his contract with the Bulldogs in April 2023. At 6-foot-1, 250 pounds and with fluid route-running skills, Williams is a truly unique threat who is a candidate to play in the early stages of his Bulldog career.

Montgomery was Georgia’s first quarterback commitment. He is the No. 65 overall prospect nationally and the No. 5 pro-style signal-caller. Montgomery has long wanted to become a Bulldog and got his wish when he was given the green light to sign in April. The Bulldogs held off a late Florida attempt to hold on to Montgomery’s commitment.

Ikinnagbon was the first edge rusher to commit in this class, committing to the Bulldogs on G-Day in April. The 1.80 meter tall, 110 kilogram young player rose in the national rankings and landed at number 194. Ikinnagbon has great advantages due to his size and speed. He forms a great pairing with five-star Isaiah Gibson on the sidelines.

Rivals250 outside linebacker Chase Linton was an early Rutgers commit, but once he got to camp the big offers started piling up. Georgia drafted Linton shortly after he finished his high school career. The Bulldogs sold him the role of Damon Wilson, a third-down havoc who will develop into an every-down defender.

At 6-foot-10 and 270 pounds, German-born Hanne will be considered a defensive player at Georgia. Although he had only completed his second season as a soccer player – he moved to the USA in 2022 – he received his offer from Georgia back in May before committing shortly afterwards.

CJ Wiley is the No. 7 wide receiver nationally and the No. 40 player overall. With his height of 1.90 meters, he offers Georgia’s quarterbacks a huge target. Wiley was a top priority for Georgia and the Bulldogs pulled out all the stops to acquire this crucial player who has size, hands and lane speed.

Anthony Kruah is an all-rounder at Rivals250 from Marietta. Kruah, a linebacker at the collegiate level, was originally committed to North Carolina but was released by Georgia in late October. Kruah also ran the ball and caught passes for Marietta, scoring 10 touchdowns this season. He was the only bright spot for the Blue Devils, who went 8-2. Kruah also had seven sacks.

The fourth of five wide receivers to commit to this class, three-star Roldan from nearby North Oconee (Bogart, Ga.) committed to the Bulldogs over the summer after visits to Georgia Tech and UGA. In the 10-game 2024 regular season, he totaled 1,101 receiving yards, which was the eighth-most for an individual in the state. A big-play receiver who poses a deep threat, Roldan has worked on the finer points of his game this season, including breaking down routes and improving his “short game.”

Just days after his official visit in late June, Williams committed to Georgia over Central Florida, Florida, Miami and Syracuse. The four-star wideout was on the receiving end of 10 touchdowns for 12-1 Armwood (Seffner, Fla.) this season after scoring 19 touchdowns (14 receiving, three on punt returns and two on kickoff returns) for Sumner (Riverview, Fla.) as a junior in 2023. At 6-foot-1, 190 pounds and with good speed, the versatile Williams could play multiple spots to play for the Bulldogs.

The jewel of the class. Five-star Elijah Griffin is the highest-rated defensive tackle in the country. He is the No. 7 player overall. Griffin quietly committed to the Bulldogs many months before his IPO. At 6-5,300 pounds, Griffin should be an immediate impact player.

The 13th-ranked prospect nationally surprised many when he chose USC over Georgia in the spring. The Bulldogs were able to bring him back to campus several times before finally making that commitment to Georgia in late June. Many schools have tried to poach the five-star fullback, but he remains committed to his commitment to the Bulldogs. The defensive line has been a problem area for Georgia and there are a lot of seniors on the current roster. Gibson, along with the rest of this loaded defensive class, will have the opportunity to step in early and contribute for the Bulldogs in 2025.
