Despite the impact of the last signal of our expert Dane Brugler-in the hours before the first round, in which Shedur Sanders did not hear his name on Thursday evening, it was (at least for some) still a bit surprising not to see the striking, top-class Colorado Quarterback. Almost everyone who watched, including Sanders even at a draft party in his home country in Texas, assumed that he would be selected in the second and third round on Friday.

But the rounds came and went on Friday, and three other quarterbacks came from the board, all of which ranked far below Sanders in Brugler’s top -100 outlook that entered the draft. (Dillon Gabriel, the third of these selected quarterbacks, was not even approximately the top 100.)

As our Nick Baumgardner wrote on Thursday evening, Sanders himself did not make favors like how he was wearing during his preliminary design process, and this process could be affected by his Hall of Fame father/college trainer Deion Sanders. But the grinding sign from Shedur Sanders is the most shocking in a rich story of top-class fall runs in the NFL design.

It is certainly the greatest act of this design, which even attracts President Donald Trump’s attention, who in truth wrote on Friday about the social support of Shedur and Deion Sanders.
