New Orleans-Die Kansas City Chiefs are 1.5-point favorites compared to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl Lix, although most agree that the outsiders have the better roster as a whole.

Quarterback is of course very important, and Patrick Mahomes’ presence on the chiefs is the big balance.

How do NFL trainers see the Matchup? I gained knowledge and selection of five of them when the week was depressed and the kickoff approached.

Defensive coordinator: How Chiefs can frustrate Vic Fangio

What is doing better for the Eagles now than in recent years is a complementary football. You know that it is your strength to run the ball. This year you have committed yourself. The quarterback (Jalen Hurts) is what it is. He understands his limits.

Kansas City fits well. Spags (chief defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo) will have a plan for the run game (the Eagles), and I don’t think hurts will do a lot in the passing game. Spags use around 5-1 structures, about 6-1 structures. This is the best way to do it against Saquon Barkley.

Offensive trainer: Eagles are the better team

I like the Eagles. I think you are the better team. Your passport will be a big factor. You will not slide and slide as if you were in Arizona (two years ago in the Super Bowl).

But as much as they attribute Kansas City to the win of all these narrow games, Buffalo has not done a favor (in the conference championship). Take the fourth and 5 game late in the game. It is 50-50. I say it is at most a field gate Kansas City. They are not better on paper, but they often play often enough. The moment it is important, third and fourth down, Spags will have a flash that comes home.

Philly won’t meet Mahomes enough. If you come to him with only four, he can move enough to buy time and throw the deep route late and all kinds of things. I think Kansas City wins.

Defensive trainer No. 2: When Jalen Hurts is best

This differs from the last time for Philly and it is really for the obvious reason: back (Barkley).

Hurts is best when you load the box and know what he has. If he knows that it is a single high, some of his deep ball publications and the way he throws can be very accurate. AJ Brown can call it up from the head of her cornerback, and then Devonta (Smith) is quickly lightning. You don’t even recognize it until you are on the field and see him personally. Last thoughts

I selected Kansas City twice this season (both Buffalo games) and can make a good case for Philadelphia here, but I will drive with the situational superiority of the chiefs. All of their keys – Andy Reid, Mahomes, Kelce, Chris Jones and Spagnuolo – seem to have the right answers at the most important times. The Red Zone defense of the Eagles is strong and could be Philly’s key to winning as an outsider. Chiefs 24, Eagles 20.
