NJ weather: snow and ice to cause dangerous road conditions this weekend. The latest forecast, storm warnings.

Weather forecasts ask the drivers to slow down this weekend and use them particularly caution, as they may have to fight with icy roads because the latest winter storm is aimed at New Jersey.

Due to fluctuating temperatures in the atmosphere and on the ground, when the storm arrives on Saturday, the conditions vary from region to region. Some parts of the state could get up to 5 to 7 inches of snow, and other areas can only get light snow, but a dangerous ice coating made of snow and ice -cold rain before the storm decreases on Sunday morning.

Prognostics from the National Weather Service said this was a very difficult storm with which the collision between colder air and warmer air occurred at different times in the entire storm.

The temperature shifts determine which areas mainly get snow with very little ice cream and which places see very little snow with considerable ice cream made of snowy boards and ice -cold rain.

“While the exact time of the precipitation types remains a certain uncertainty, the main bullet of the take -away remains the right afternoon.

Prognostics say that the storm that comes from Ohio Valley could bring some snow on Saturday afternoon, but the majority of the storm will probably only arrive on Saturday evening.

“A winter mix of snow, snow and ice-cold rain is forecast in many areas nearby and south of the I-78,” said the weather service. “North of the I-78, mainly snow, to start on Saturday evening and mix with a little snow and ice-core rain overnight.”

When warmer air from the south occurs in Saturday evening, “every winter rainfall will turn from south to the north to Metro Philadelphia overnight on Saturday evening in the early Sunday morning,” the weather service says.

In most cases, the precipitation should end in most cases of New Jersey, but could hold out in the northeastern region of the state late Sunday morning.
