Rochester, Minn. (Kttc) – We saw a nice spring weather in SE Minnes and Iowa on Thursday. Even more warmth is before the lead on Friday, as many cities in our area could see record heat when the highs climbed into the 1970s.

In addition to the heat of the records that we follow on Friday of the day, we pursue the risk of strong to severe storms on Friday evening. Friday is a first alarm day for our area. Se minn. And an Iowa is currently at a risk of storm at level 2/5.

The current timing brings thunderstorms to our southwestern edge near Mason City, around 6/7 a.m., along the Hwy 52 corridors around 8/9 p.m. and the Mississippi river after 10 p.m.

I think our heavy threat depends on the region because some factors can limit our serious potential tomorrow. However, if we manage to initiate strong to heavy storms, we will be strong to harmful wind to our main threat to SE Minn. And ne iowa. We also cannot rule out the potential for hail or an isolated spin-up tornado.

It is expected that colder air on the back of this system is to integrate, which means that we can see periodic rain and snow showers all day long. The temperatures will be more seasonal this weekend in the 1930s before they will be used for the 50s and 1960s in early next week.

The middle of the next week looks more active because another system that is expected to go through our region. On Wednesday on Wednesday, rain and snow showers with temperatures could be present in the 30s.
